Instead of forwarding photos related to their lessons or motivational quotes and images to encourage them on their assignments, a horny teacher has admitted sending naked pictures of herself to as many as five of her male students on Snapchat.
A student told school administrators at Logan High School in West Virginia that he had photos of a naked Tracy Miller saved on his phone. The student later showed the indecent photos to the officers as proof. Miller was immediately called to the office for questioning.
The teacher, 27, said she could not remember how many photos she may have sent to her students but puts the estimate at five students. She also admitted that the inappropriate photo-sharing happened between March and July this year. It is not clear whether she decided to send the photos to the five students at random or she deliberately targeted them.
Miller has been suspended without pay. The school district told the local media that they are handling the issue properly. The school said: “We are dealing with the situation following county policy governing employee code of conduct. The teacher in question has been suspended at this time.”
Miller was charged with three counts of distributing obscene matter to a minor. She started working in the school only in January.
She is free on bail but investigators are still trying to determine whether there were more students who had received the naked photos.
It is not clear if Miller explained why she did such an indecent act involving such minors. The school also did not clarify whether they have given the affected students debriefing process of a sort or offered some counseling for the potentially traumatic experience of receiving obscene material from a person of authority, someone who should be respected, as well as respectful.
It is also not clear if the parents, not just of the affected students but in entire classes, if not the whole school, have reacted to the incident.
