It seems that the long noses and deep pockets of Hollywood cannot avoid putting their grubby hands into the politics of the rest of the nation, proven once again as Hollywood elites are pouring a fortune into Texas to try and defeat Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) throughout of state funding.
Why is it that the Hollywood liberals continue to stick their noses into the business of everyday Texans’ lives?
It's about the goals of flooding America with “refugees” and illegal aliens through the border with Mexico, hoping that by changing the Demographics of the nation the Democratic Party has a chance to survive future elections. By changing the outcome of Texas politics, they can place liberal and progressive leftists in the position of controlling local and state policy when it comes to the immigration crackdowns typically backed by Republicans and the people of Texas.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is considered one of the toughest Constitutionalists in the nation, as a once Tea-Party favorite, he backs hard-line immigration policies and strong traditional values, in other words, everything Democrats stand against.
This is why the Hollywood elitists are dumping so much excess cash into Cruz’s opponent, Representative Beto O’Rourke (D-TX), in hopes they can tilt the scales against Cruz and pull-off a major upset that would devastate the GOP in Congress.
Demographically, the Democratic Party has sent millions of west coast liberals to move into the state of Texas over the last decade, slowly turning the historically Republican red-state closer to being purple, with the hopes of eventually going blue.
There are now liberal hotbeds all throughout Texas, albeit those cities are crime-ridden disaster areas, such as that of Austin.
Director of the pedophile-hiring Disney company's “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” Rian Johnson, has already given O’Rourke $5,400 to take on Cruz when he has no business in Texas elections in the first place.

The Executive Producer of the film “22 Jump Street,” Phil Lord, has also dumped $5,400 into O’Rourke, with Connie Britton, of the series “Nashville,” the following suit with the same maximum individual amount as well.
Producer Joe Roth, of “Alice in Wonderland” and countless other films, has also matched that maximum donation, helping push O’Rourke to have a heavily financed campaign to take down Cruz.

As of March 31st, 2018, O’Rourke had raised over $13 million for his Senate bid, and those numbers are likely even higher today, as reported by Open Secrets.
58% of all funding raised by O’Rourke is from the liberal elites via large donations, making him one of the most heavily-backed candidates from Hollywood in the 2018 election cycle.

It's not just Hollywood liberals donating either, with the leftist Jewish Organization J Street pouring in over $114,000 to O’Rourke as his leading donor, the University of Texas in second place with $77,000, AT&T Inc. at number three with $27,000, Rice University at number four with $25,000, and Google’s parent company Alphabet coming in at number five with $21,000 in donations.

As you can tell, this is heavy outside influence, most of which do not reside in Texas, coming in to assist the takedown of Senator Cruz.
Most concerning is J Street, a leftist-Jewish group, such is stunning considering that the GOP and President Trump have done so much for the Jewish and Israeli people in the last two years.
I suppose there's just no pleasing the radical left, especially those from outside of Texas.

In comparison, Senator Ted Cruz, an incumbent, was reported to only have slightly over seven million dollars in cash-on-hand from the same time frame after raising a total of nineteen million.
It looks like the Democrats are desperately trying to unseat Ted Cruz and do so in an upset, without anyone noticing.

Nasty women such as that of Rosie O’Donnell and Alyssa Milano certainly have put their sights on the seat belonging to Cruz, but those two alone isn't going to take the victory away from the incumbent.

With the elites of Hollywood combined, O’Rourke does stand a chance. Not to mention, the widespread voter fraud Democrats are infamous for.
This may be the first major challenge Cruz has faced for the Texas Senate seat, and it's undoubtedly still early in the game, with many more Hollywood elitists coming to back O’Rourke in the coming months.
Many would argue that those from out of state should not be able to donate to political races per individual states, but there's major pushback on such an assertion by the politicians in the pockets of so many industries.
It would no doubt end corruption within Congress, however.
One thing is certain, no matter how you feel about Ted Cruz, he is a fighter in Donald Trump's corner, one that must stay in power in Texas, and remain the voice of reason against the Communist push from Democrats.

While I live in El Paso and say that Congressman O'Rourke was a very good city councilman and as a US Representative who has supported many veteran-based causes, I cannot and will not cast another vote for him.
While he started as a representative of the people who voted for him early in his political career, he has now become a slave to party politics and has shown that he will vote exclusively along political party lines.
I'm not about to let his political party's platform planks and a tidal wave of non-Texas/outside financial contributions become a way to represent my state at-large.
Call me old fashioned, I cannot and will not endorse his politics or platform as a representative of the Great State of Texas.

As a lifelong and very proud Texan, I 'd really like to know what statute authorizes UT, an ostensibly public entity supported by and owned by taxpayers, to engage in electoral activities such as political campaign donations at all, let alone to such hard leftist candidates as Beto.
