Facebook Launches Fake Filter In France Ahead Of The Presidential Election

It's unfortunate that the Leftists who run Facebook are up in arms conspiring on how to defeat the first conservative presidential candidate Marine Le Pen.

Facebook pledged to prevent fake news from reaching its coveted News Feed in the U.S. based on the fact that it didn't want any conservative media to get any attention since they are always right, now it working so hard to filter French news feeds.

The social media giant is reportedly partnering with eight-media fact-checkers to ensure that any news regarding France's upcoming presidential election is real.

Its no surprise that the French campaign is similar to an initiative that Facebook launched in the US sometime last year, Germany also saw the same thing last month. Google and Facebook faced widespread criticism after allowing fake news to spread during the US presidential election. Several leaders in Europe have expressed their concern over Facebook's misinformation since it could affect the upcoming elections in various countries.

The mode of operation involves users reporting news as fake and then such stories are sent to a single portal where all eight news organizations and a fact-checking group access it. They then get to decide what is and is not real; if at least two media outlets proclaim it to be false, then the story is flagged and as a result, users get a warning that the story is fake.

It's a well-known fact that fake news has been coming primarily from the so-called mainstream media outlets such as CNN, The New York Times, Buzzfeed and The Washington Post. These outlets are very crooked in how the spread fake information, in the U.S. for example, President Trump's executive order banning travel into the United States from the seven terrorism-infested countries is being portrayed as an attack on Islam.

The truth behind Trump's executive order is the fact that he is not saying that every Muslim is a terrorist, instead he does acknowledge that the seven countries have a major problem with harboring terror groups.

Like we've seen in the U.S., France Facebook users will now be treated to a steady diet of news that constitutes singular anti-conservative, globalist view, which nowhere close to freedom but a form of soft tyranny and censorship. However, these tactics that Facebook deployed in the U.S. did not stop President Trump and hence there's a great likelihood that Le Pen will also overcome this bias.
