Ohio Manhunt for Quadruple Murder Suspect Ends in Arrest : (

The suspect behind a quadruple murder has been arrested after authorities launched a massive manhunt.

Aaron Lawson, 23, was arrested on Friday morning, and has since been taken to the Lawrence County, Ohio jail. The Sheriff confirmed the arrest at around 11:00 a.m. via a news conference.

Lawson is suspected to be behind the gruesome killing of three adults and a child at a home located along Route 93 in the Pedro Area on Wednesday. The police also said that he stabbed a fourth adult at around the time of the multiple killings.

Authorities initially could not find the child, and issued a missing person’s alert, inevitably raising hopes that the boy could still be alive. But the worst fears have been confirmed later: the boy is dead along with the adults, and his body was just hidden in the home where the adults were killed.

Deputies earlier spotted Lawson early Thursday along Ironton. A brief chase ensued but the authorities lost the suspect when he ran into the woods in the dark.

Lawson was later arrested roughly 12 miles from the scene of the crime. The young man will be charged with three counts of murder and one count of aggravated murder.

The authorities have provided a photo of Lawson and as eerie as it may appear, he bears a strong resemblance into the suspect of another The Goldwater story about not even 12 hours ago. Lawson looks like the Oregon man who was wanted for violating terms of his probation and who has been taken into custody after detonating a small explosive device during a traffic stop in Rock Creek Wednesday afternoon. The suspect has been identified as Jason Schaefer, 26.
