What happened to Dan Grilo?
Everyone remembers Dan Grilo right? Maybe not. Maybe you do.
The infamous tweet from Dan Grilo, a Principal at Liberty Advisor Group in Chicago, <a href="http://thegoldwater.com/news/1538-Despicable-Dan-Grilo-Calls-The-Wife-of-Fallen-Navy-Seal-an-Idiot">insulted Carryn Owens, </a>the widowed wife of Navy SEAL William Owens who died during a military operation in Yemen on January 28th of 2017.
Owens is a hero, who lost his life serving this nation and he deserved the utmost respect for his amazing sacrifice.
As President Trump was honoring Owens and recognizing his wife in the audience during the State of the Union, Dan Grilo tweeted the following:
<blockquote>"Sorry, Owens' wife, you're not helping yourself or your husband's memory by standing there and clapping like an idiot. Trump just used you."</blockquote>
Almost instantly the backlash began on social media which caused the downward spiral of Grilo, eventually leading to Liberty Adviser Group <a href="http://www.thegoldwater.com/news/1569-Ex-Clinton-volunteer-fired-after-writing-derogatory-tweet-about-Navy-SEAL-widow">terminating the employment </a>of Grilo.
As a former adviser for both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton most of the world wasn't shocked that Dan Grilo could stoop to such low levels, but now we're wondering where is he now?
<div style="width:100%;text-align:center;margin:0 auto;"><iframe width="360" height="202" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XoLYzLRMXQg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
Who could have hired this man after his despicable remarks; or his he employed at all?
Does Dan Grilo have to sit in the unemployment lines, living off food stamps and welfare, paying for Obamacare?
He deleted his Twitter account and nearly vanished off the face of the Earth.
There's several parody accounts of Grilo on both <a href="https://mobile.twitter.com/search?q=Dan%20Grilo&src=typed_query">Twitter</a> and on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/public/Dan-Grilo">Facebook</a>, but could the real Dan Grilo please stand up?
Someone has to know where he's at now.

The public clearly supported the President of the United States of America in his praise of both Owens service and his wife, and none could forget what Dan Grilo said.
It most certainly set a precedent for those in the future as to what limits your words can be used towards outside of work, and how it may reflect upon your company of employment.
So here's the challenge: Find Dan Grilo. We want to interview him.
Anyone with any information as to where he's currently employed is urged to contact The Goldwater with tips to suggest where he's at now and what it is he's doing.
