In the past week and a half since the Las Vegas attacks we've seen a major attempt to change the narrative surrounding the events which transpired, watched crooked politicians push for gun grabbing legislation, seen techniques to memory-hole the events with new supposedly huge stories, and a series of demented individuals attempt to use the tragedy as a way to threaten others into fulfilling their goals whatever they may be.
Now a Manhattan Man, Victor Casillas has been arrested for threatening a “Las Vegas Part Two” in attempts to extort a Colorado based company.
In an email that Casillas sent to the company he wrote the following (including the poor grammar):
<blockquote>”I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY GOD DAM FUNDS…A–HOLES…WELL GET READY 4 LAS VEGas part 2…MAYBE TODAY YOU WILL MEET YOUR MAKER.”</blockquote>
This email was sent on October 4th, just days after the events of Las Vegas.
However Casillas wasn't done there ; he sent similarly threatening emails to a Denver company as well:
<blockquote>”TOP TARGETS FOR SNIPER…NAMES OF FIRST ROW OF SERIAL DEATHS BY ASSASSINATION. PLEASE TELL LOVED ONES TO START PICKING OUT A NICE BEAUTIFUL CASKET AND PLAN A DECENT FUNERAL.”</blockquote>
Alongside the emails he sent pictures of several of the employees, with words such as “DECAPITATION” written alongside the photos.
He then sent a photo of machine guns, with the phrase “I'VE ARRIVED IN DENVER”.
An additional letter he sent said the following:
<blockquote>“I wanna know who your spouse and children are too and I’m not asking you I’m telling you, I wasn’t to know who your parents are as well if the pieces of trash are even still alive (for now) for that matter.</blockquote>
He's since been detained by Federal Agents for his threats, and it underscores the severity and the complex mental illness that many criminals are suffering from in light of the events of Las Vegas.
You simply don't know if someone else will attempt a mass shooting or a crime to copycat those events.
While it's most likely this was an extortion attempt for profit it shows that some folks humanity is nearly stricken to the point of no return.
