Police officers spotted a handgun in his car triggering a larger search which is how they found an AR-15 assault rifle, 217 rounds and a pressure cooker inside the vehicle. The FBI were called in to investigate and they determined the cooker was actually used for food and was not intended to be used as a weapon. The Boston bombers used pressure cookers to send lethal shrapnel exploding into the nearby crowd. Two men were with Zamora and were also taken into custody but do not face charges.

Zamora was given a traffic citation for driving 15-20 mph over the speed limit and was booked into jail for one felon count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Police determined that Zamora was in town to drop off a friend at the airport, there is no word as to why he was traveling with arsenal in his vehicle.

Please explain how he can be charged a felon count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by just having it on the vehicle? He was pulled over for speeding not gun fire and / or threatening acts? Also calling it an arsenal in his vehicle is overselling it.
