Law enforcement in Montgomery, Alabama say they've taken a man into custody for murdering his own son.
The Montgomery Police Department said they received a late night call around 3 AM about a potential victim being shot.
However after authorities arrived to the scene 2400 block of Chase Park Drive they found the victim lying in a pool of blood unresponsive with what appeared to be a fatal stab wound.
The Montgomery Fire and Rescue then transported the victim, 22 year old Ladarius Snow to Jackson Hospital where he was later pronounced dead upon arrival.
An investigation into what happened led Montgomery Officers to the conclusion that the father and son had a fight and then the dad stabbed his child.
The father then began claiming he had chest pains and was taken to a nearby hospital where it's believed he was faking the injuries to avoid jail time.
Montgomery Police Department soon after placed 47 year old Darius Richardson under arrest with the charge of murder.
Richardson is now in the custody of Montgomery County Detention Facility where he's being held on a $150,000 bond.
