Mr Frank Guerrero, 26 years old, had found a novel way to top up his meager earnings at Mcdonalds.
The New York narcotics department served up one of their funniest stories so far in informing the public about Mr Guerrero’s arrest. He would serve Happy Meals with a side of cocaine (preparing food and serving your customers a burger with their drugs certainly beats having to stand outside waiting for the addicts on the corner of some dark alley).
Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget G. Brennan: “The conduct was so blatant it would be comical if he weren’t committing a serious narcotics crime. Ordering coke took on an entirely different meaning on the night shift at this McDonald’s.”
You have to admit that the narcotics department has a good sense of humor as they referred to their three-month undercover sting as “Operation Off the Menu.”
Mr Guerrero was caught for selling $10,900 cocaine in eight different sales out of the McDonalds the franchise at 1600 Bruckner Boulevard in the Soundview section of the Bronx.
We must take note of the employee’s novel ways of selling and stashing the cocaine. He once sold $6,250 worth of cocaine in the public bathroom and on another occasion prepared an undercover police officers two cheeseburgers, a soda and fries with a side of cocaine stashed in a cookie bag. That makes for a nice dessert we’d say.
After authorities had gathered enough evidence, they got a search warrant and invaded his home in the Pelham section of the Bronx. At his residence, they seized 200 grams of cocaine as well as $5,300 in cash. His girlfriend Ms Leidy Cabral Castillo and her 2-year-old child were present at that time.
Just for your information, we also had a look at our nearest McDonalds but unfortunately enough there was no cocaine on the menu.
