Hurst Police Searching for Elementary Siblings Gone Missing After School

Brother and sister elementary students from Hurst have not returned home from school Wednesday afternoon and have gone missing. The Hurst police are now looking for the siblings.

Nathaniel Charez, 9, and Genesis Madrigal, 5, left Hurst Hills Elementary School located in the 500 block of Billie Ruth Lane about 3 p.m. and nothing has been heard from them since then.

It is not clear whether the siblings left on foot, or if they should have boarded a school bus, or were picked up by an adult. The police have also yet to share information if there are surveillance cameras on campus that may have caught the siblings leaving the school grounds.

The school has yet to issue a statement on the matter, and it is not clear what they’re doing to help locate the children. It is also not clear yet if they are conducting interviews with the siblings’ classmates and friends who may be able to shed light on where they could have gone.

A local report has not specified any interview yet with the family of the missing children. It is not clear then if there could be an angle of the domestic issue that could explain where the children could have gone.

The authorities have not yet declared any motive for the kids’ disappearance, including the angle of kidnapping.

Photos of the siblings have been provided by the police to guide the public in assisting the authorities to find the siblings.

For now, the authorities are asking the public’s help to search for the siblings and bring them back to their families. Anyone with information on the children’s whereabouts is requested to call the police immediately at 817-788-7180 or email [email protected].
