Authorities have arrested the woman seen in Snapchat shooting video on Monday morning.
The shocking clips showed Michael Anthony Cuellar, 29, and Sierra Tarbutton, 27, shooting approximately 14 rounds from a moving car early Tuesday morning last week. Both have been charged with deadly conduct. They were even seen smiling as they fire the shots.
Tarbutton has been arrested and is currently at the Harris County Jail. Suspect Michael Cuellar is still at large.
Basing from the location of the Snapchat map, it was geotagged or tracked, right along Highway 6 behind a resident’s home.
Charging documents at the Harris County District Clerk’s Office said the two were identified by the police after comparing the videos to other social media platforms and law enforcement search engines.
An arrest warrant has since been issued for Cuellar.
Court documents show the two have prior run-ins with the law. Cuellar, a local rapper, is a known drug dealer. Tarbutton has a retaliation against a public servant on her record. She threatened before the life of a police officer’s daughters by saying “those are two cute little girls, those are going to be two cute little tombstones.” She also once bragged that she knows cartel members. She made such threats on August 18, 2015.
The pair’s shooting spree has left fears in the hearts of some homeowners, some of which already had their homes destroyed by Harvey as it is. One homeowner referred to as Sally spoke to local media ABC13 and said that her house is already destroyed by the floodwaters that one more bullet hole won’t hurt but what the couple did was simply scary. She also shared that the entire neighborhood was left shocked by what happened.
Authorities are asking the public’s help to locate Cuellar and for any other information relevant to the case. Anyone with useful tips may call Houston Police Department at 713-884-3131 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
