Legendary singer Tom Petty has been found unconscious and not breathing on Monday. He has been rushed to a hospital after being found in full cardiac arrest.

EMTs who arrived first at the scene were unable to get a pulse after responding to the call which originated from his home. After being taken to the closest hospital he was put on life support and listed in critical condition.
Tom Petty was known for his decades long career as the singer for his group Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers which began in the 1970's.

Damn. Tom always seemed like a decent person. Never seemed full of himself or making a fool like so many celebrities do. Depending upon how long he was down, he may not pull out of this. RIP Tom, thanks for the music and the memories.
