According to Border Patrol Agents in Texas, they've apprehended an illegal alien who was just previously deported only four days prior to being detained.
This only further amplifies the need to build a wall, as deportations alone aren't enough to keep them from returning after being removed.
Just last week Border Patrol Agents detained Gilberto Trevizo-Molina near Hidalgo,Texas and sent him packing back to Mexico.
Under the new restrictions which President Trump and the Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Department of Justice have ordered, he will now be charged with a federal crime of illegal re-entry.
"Record checks revealed the defendant was formally deported/excluded from the United States on September 21, 2017, through Hidalgo, Texas," according to the federal criminal complaint against him.
United States Federal Magistrate Judge Peter E. Ormsby ordered Trezio held without bond until trial, and there is no current listing for an attorney to comment further.
Prosecutors in the Southern District of Texas, which includes the Rio Grande Valley, handled 403 new immigration offenses in August of 2017, which is more immigration offenses than any other federal judicial district nationwide, according to data published by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.
The state of Texas and this region in particular is a seemingly hotbed point of entry for illegal aliens.
Now more than ever we need to fund and break ground on building a border wall.
