Police Identify Man and Woman Discovered Shot Dead Saturday in San Francisco

The San Francisco medical examiner’s office has identified the man and the woman who died in a double homicide Saturday in San Francisco.

They are identified as Angel Raygoza, 24, a San Francisco resident and Susana Robles Desgarennes, 20, also of San Francisco as the two people found dead in a vehicle near the intersection of Rayburn and 21st streets at around 9:31 a.m.

Police spokesman Officer Robert Rueca said a caller alerted the police about the two people in a vehicle and asked the officers to look into their well-being. Rueca said that when officers responded to the scene, they discovered the two to be suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers tried to give whatever aid they could and also called for medical assistance but the man and wife, now identified as Raygoza and Desgarennes, have been pronounced dead at the scene.

Police also found a child seat inside the vehicle but a probe later showed that no child was put in danger in the said car.

The officers said that it appears that no suspect is on the loose and that the neighborhood is generally safe.

The officers also recovered a gun at the scene. Still, the case remains shrouded in mystery, with many questions unanswered. The authorities are then seeking the public’s help in piecing together what happened by sharing what they know of the two people identified, and whatever incident that led to their deaths.

Rueca said on Saturday: “At this time, we don’t have any suspect information. We are looking at all angles for this double homicide.”

The department’s homicide unit and the medical examiner are probing the case.

Anyone with useful information may contact the department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575 4444. People who wish to sent information through mobile may also send messages at TIP411 and start the message with SFPF. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous will have their wishes respected.
