Metro Police say Officers were called to assist a domestic-related situation on Veterans Memorial Drive and Bonanza Road this afternoon when they discovered a horrific scene of murder by way of gunshot.
Law enforcement in Las Vegas have issued both a nationwide Amber Alert and are engaged in a manhunt for a suspect they say shot and killed his child's mother before kidnapping the young child.
Police say 36 year old Eduardo Rozada-Tamayo is responsible for shooting the mother of his daughter twice, once in the head.

After he killed his child's mother he then fled the scene with the four year old, Angie, and is heading to an unknown destination.

Authorities say that the vehicle Rozada-Tamayo is driving is a newer model black Toyota RAV4 with a luggage rack on top, a temporary paper license plate in the upper left-hand corner of the rear window, and a red and white dealer placard in the license plate holder.

Investigators describe Eduardo Rozada-Tamayo as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 190 pounds, and having black hair with black eyes. He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a white t-shirt.

The child was later located by authorities but the murder is still on the run, according to Las Vegas Metro Police.

Officials warn that if you see the suspect immediately contact local law enforcement agencies and do not approach, as he is considered both armed and incredibly dangerous.
