Video: Police in Elliot City, Maryland Offering Reward for Help Identifying Armed Robbers

Law enforcement from the Howard County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects who they say are responsible for a violent armed robbery.

Police say that the unknown gunman entered a Shell gas station Dash-In Convenience Store combo at around 3:43 AM and then pulled firearms on the clerk.

The pumping station is located on

9075 Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City, Maryland, 21042.

Eyewitnesses state that the men were black although they had their faces partially covered during the robbery.

You can see the gunman place the firearm directly into the face of the clerk, demanding that he hand over cash.

The armed suspect can then be seen taking the entire cash drawer and fleeing the scene as patrons and the clerk are breathing a sigh of relief to have survived, with the incredible homicide rates of nearby Baltimore and complete disregard for human life.

Howard County police spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn said, "This is a good example of where a victim did the right thing. We know this situation can be very scary, but we want people to be safe first, so comply do what's being asked and make sure that you get away with your life, and then call 911."

Officers actually believe one of the suspects is female, and Howard County Police highlighted a few clues on the surveillance video to help attempt to identify the pair.

The female suspect can be seen with a specific design on her sleeve, Ns there's a close-up look at the shoes of one of the suspects; as well as a close-up look at the gun that was used in the robbery which some have suggested may have been a Ruger.

"We highlight that gun because if you know this person, and if you've seen him carrying a gun before, it may look familiar to you," Llewellyn said.

Authorities also said there was a customer with a young child inside of the gas station at the time of the robbery.

Detectives are now offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information on the suspects or any possible leads in the case, saying you can contact Howard County Police at 410-313-STOP or email [email protected] where you can leave an anonymous tip if you prefer.
