Megan with a 'Y' are you Still on the Air?

Megyn Kelly is done with politics. After losing her job at Fox after a highly publicized beef with soon-to-be President Donald Trump, Megyn Kelly is finally free of politics. From Donald Trump beefs to Alex Jones interviews to… Kardashian retrospectives?!?

That's right, Megyn is trying to stay in safer territory, she says. Kardashians, <i>Will and Grace</i>. Megyn has moved from one of the most iconic faces of <i>Fox News</i> to attempting some sort of a transformation into a kind of Ellen/Oprah/Kathie Lee hybrid.

<quote>“The debut was like watching a network try to assemble its own Bride of Frankenstein, using parts of Ellen DeGeneres, Kelly Ripa and whatever else it can find.”</quote>

<i>CNN's</i> Brian Lowry was a bit less harsh, but still quite critical:

<quote>“After tepid marks for her prime time newsmagazine and now her addition to ‘Today,’ it's worth considering that NBC News brass leapt at the opportunity to snag a high-profile news star without having fully thought through how best to deploy her.”</quote>

<i>Jezebel</i> called Megyn "a HomeGoods catalog brought to life."

In her first show she announced (jokingly) that she planned to dissect the President's latest tweet, then admitted this was the last thing on her mind as she's "kind of done with politics for now." <a href="http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/and-on-the-second-day-megyn-kelly-kind-of-waded-into-politics/342743">Despite all this, by episode two</a> Megyn was already making comments on NFL's #takeaknee and how she believed it was a free speech issue.

So much for spurning politics…
