The President-elect Donald Trump cares less about celebrities showing up in his inauguration. Mr. Trump called out the so-called A list celebrities as he pointed out that they are looking to attend his inauguration in a tweet. Trump continued to state that he doesn’t want them.
Trump tweeted saying that the so-called A list celebrities all want tixs to the inauguration. He also pointed out that the so-called celebrities did nothing for Hillary as he emphasized that he’s more interested in the U.S. citizens.
Trump’s inauguration is only a few weeks away and few celebrities have confirmed publicly that they’ll not perform at Trump’s inauguration. However, Trump booked entertainment less than a month out and this is not ideal.
Despite the announcement by a Trump transition team member that stated that Elton John would be singing at the inauguration, his publicist told the New York Times otherwise. However, this makes little to no difference, Trump will still be inaugurated.
There were speculations that Kanye West would be performing at Trump’s inauguration after he showed up at Trump Tower. However, Trump’s inaugural committee said that Kanye would not perform.
There are more talented singers who deserve to get the opportunity to perform at Trump’s inauguration. Such include teenage singer Jackie Evancho who is booked to perform the national anthem. Evancho is a 16-year-old who was a runner-up on America’s Got Talent, she also performed at the 2010 Christmas Tree lighting.
The Radio City Rockettes performed at George W. Bush’s inauguration and they’ll also perform at Trump’s inauguration. Mormon Tabernacle Choir will also perform due to their extensive experience performing at five presidential inaugurations.
The President-elect Donald Trump has always proved to be independent of the big names. During the presidential election campaign, Trump said that he doesn’t need celebrities to perform at his rallies to draw crowds like Hillary Clinton did days before the Election day.
