Police in Madison, Tennessee say that they received an emergency 911 call late tonight after a witness heard multiple gunshots.
According to the caller, the gunshots were heard coming from the 3000 block of Barbara Lynn Way.
Law enforcement was dispatched to the scene where they found multiple shell casings outside of a home and leading into the front door of the house.
Once Metro police went inside the home they discovered a 19-year-old male who had gunshot wounds to his body, lying in a pool of blood.

Officers say they saw several bullet holes in the walls of the house, where it appeared to have been fired from outside the home.
One neighbor reporting hearing a vehicle squeal its tires and then looking out his window to see the car firing shots into the home in an apparent drive-by shooting.
Emergency medical responders say that they then transported the victim via care flight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where it's believed he's undergoing emergency surgery.
There are currently no suspects in the case and the condition of the victim remains unclear.
