They know perfectly well that it is nearly impossible to overturn the election results through Monday's Electoral College vote, yet Hillary Clinton and her bunch of fellow Democrats still want so badly to create more trouble and cast doubts on the legitimacy of President-elect Donald Trump's presidency by asking electors to go against American electoral traditions and principles and dump Trump in the final, official voting. They have been conducting an aggressive media and campaign lobby efforts to change the minds of the electors, including asking for an intel briefing for the electors on the supposed impact of the alleged Russian hacking into the U.S. election ahead of Monday's vote. Well, bad news for Hillary and company as the said request has been turned down.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has announced it is not giving the electors an intel briefing on the matter, pointing instead to a previous October 7 announcement by U.S. intelligence agencies that they were " confident" of Russia's involvement in hacking election-related information. The DNI also said it will give Congress a briefing and will make the findings available to the public once they are done with the review of alleged foreign interference into U.S. elections since 2008.

The request for an intel briefing for the electors ahead of the vote was initiated by the minority Democrats from the 538 men and women who will officially vote for President-elect Donald Trump as president on Monday. 10 electors from five states signed the open letter addressed to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. The effort was organized by Christine Pelosi, daughter of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi ( D-Calif.)

Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta backed the request, citing the national interest of the Americans. In reality, of course, we know it's just another of their desperate attempts to question the legitimacy of Trump's presidency. That's easier for them to do than accept the bitter truth that they have miserably failed in the election.

For losers like Podesta, his boss Hillary, and the rest of Democrats, if they cannot stop Trump from fulfilling his destiny and mandate as the 45th President of America, they should at least work to de-legitimize him as much as they can before the public. As with the election, it's another bruise to their egos as they're losing big time again.
