Videos Show Antifa Dressed In Black Bringing Violence to Peaceful Berkeley Gathering

Protests in America are becoming increasingly violent and the latest example took place this afternoon at Berkeley, California. Fears of far right groups came true when black-clad anarchists flooded into a peaceful protest on Sunday and assaulted 4 people. The leader of the politically conservative group had just canceled an event in San Francisco after the felt threatened by statements from the cities mayor as well as counter protests planned on Facebook. Joey Gibson, the leader of the conservative Patriot Prayer group, was among those assaulted by the black-clad anarchists. One man on twitter shared a video of what he calls Antifa terrorists beating a father and son on the campus with no police in sight.

Police in Charlottesville were criticized for not taking action during the violence of the United the Right rally that led to one woman being killed. Now it appears that lack of police presence is also allowing peaceful protesters to get hurt in Berkeley by masked Antifa thugs. Police have been alerted to the potential for violence that the gathering in Berkeley indicated and at least one of the victims, Gibson, was able to find safety behind a line of police after being pepper sprayed and violently forced away by the masked thugs.

Videos show three other victims who were repeatedly punched and kicked in a park near the gathering until the police interceded with smoke grenades. Berkeley did not issue permits to any 'counter protesters' and Berkeley's Mayor Jesse Arreguin urged them to stay away from the lawful gathering.

Using violence to enforce your believes on other people is no different from what Islamic terrorist groups are doing. If the people under the masks were known to be Muslim these violent attacks would be treated no differently than if they were ISIL. This type of violence should not be allowed to persist and anyone claiming to be a part of the group should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
