In a bizarre festival that went very wrong, one man is left dead and a woman injured in Tunbridge Wells near Kent, England. Police say a 51-year-old man was dead upon arrival at three-day long 'Flamefest', a kink rave festival. Flamefest is an event that promises swingers an outdoor S&M dungeon and 'adult play area' where couples can enjoy sexual fantasies complete with dominatrix's.

The festival takes place over a period of three days and the event was furnished with fetish play equipment where visitors can 'explore pain, experience pleasure and fulfill your fantasies' according to a promotion for the event. One couple may have got more than they bargained for. Authorities say, "Kent Police is making inquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding an unexplained death in Tunbridge Wells." Officers say they were called by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 6:14 a.m. Tuesday for a medical emergency at a campsite in Tunbridge Wells. When officers arrived they pronounced one man dead and found an unconscious woman. The spokesman for the Kent police continued saying, "In addition, an unconscious woman received medical treatment and was taken to a local hospital by air ambulance."

Police do not have any further clues to release to the public regarding this man's fate and it is being treated as an open investigation. Kent authorities confirmed in an official statement, "We have a number of resources at the scene including specialists critical care paramedics, Hazardous Area Response Team and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. At this stage, we have no further information."
