President Trump Sets Record for Most Debt Cut by a President

America, Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States, and on the campaign trail he made a deal with the American people.

That deal underscored cutting down the debt of the United States of America which has been abused by Congress and previous Presidents for several decades.

Today we can proudly announce that the 45th President of the United States, in just 8 months in office, has officially cut more debt than any United States President in American history.

After the initial Inauguration of President Trump, US Federal Debt owed both externally and internally was over $19 Trillion at $19,947,304,555,212.

The debt only continued to increase under previous administrations, but as of August 17th the amount of total US Debt has been decreased by more than $100 Billion to $19,845,188,460,167.

I realize there's still a monumental amount of debt to be removed, but not crediting President Trump for these enormous gains in the removal would be insane.

No President has ever accomplished such a task, and in such a short period of time it only confirms that President Trump's “Promises Made, Promises Kept” reelection slogan will hold even more weight.

Throughout history no President has presided over such a huge debt, something that can be accredited to the failures of the Clinton, Bush, and Obama Administrations prior to President Trump.

Democrats will try and argue “but President Clinton balanced the budget”, but that statement is literally rhetoric that's factually untrue.

The amount of United States debt under Clinton actually increased, regardless of what artificial papers he may have signed.

The United States Government Accountability Office has performed several audits since the year 1997 of the proven to be increasing US Debt amounts annually.

In their analysis of these end year totals they show that when accounting for United States Debt Held by the Public and US Intragovernmental Debt Holdings, the amount of US Debt has increased every year since their audits began back in 97.

The amount of US Debt Held by the Public decreased each year from 1999, 2000 and 2001 but the amount intragovernmental Debt Holdings increased at larger amounts during this period which is never reported to the public by Democrats.

According to the Treasury website which shows the daily amounts of debt outstanding, you can see the increases.

However this reporting only goes back to March 31st of 2005, so prior years could never have been properly reported by the left and they knew this when lying to the public on their campaign trails.

The Treasury does also provide monthly amounts outstanding back through September 30th of 2001 and annual amounts back through 1997. The audited financial statement show the increase in US Debt annually from 1997 through 2016.

We know that no President in history thus far has reduced the amount of US Debt for a longer period of time because no President has reduced the amount of US Debt since 1997, making President Trump one of a kind.

A review of the amount of (unaudited) of US Debt outstanding dating as far back as the Civil War shows that the last time the US Federal Government had a debt decrease between years was when Republican President Eisenhower was in office in both 1957 and 1958.

Eisenhower cut the amount of US Debt by $2 Billion each year from $274 Billion in 1956 to $273 Billion in 1957 and again to $271 Billion in 1958.

President Trump has made monumental gains in his time in office and we're not even a year in yet. President Trump is Making America Great Again!
