In a groundbreaking case which could determine future rulings over sexual harassment and groping, iconic pop-star Taylor Swift has reached a judgment in her widely publicized groping case.

The jury sided with Taylor Swift and she won the symbolic $1 award alongside the long awaited vindication after the decision that a radio host groped her during a pre-concert photo shot nearly four years ago.

The weeklong trial was dirty with multiple dueling lawsuits feigning for supremacy, but in the end jurors determined that fired Denver DJ David Mueller assaulted the pop star by grabbing her butt under her skirt during a backstage camera shoot meet and greet event.

The jury was made up of six women and two men, and they also found that Swift's mother and radio liaison were within their rights to contact Mueller's bosses, which Mueller had disputed through his attorneys.

Mueller sued the Swifts and their radio promoter, Frank Bell, asking for up to $3 million for his alleged ruined career after the incident.

Just before the final closing arguments, the judge brazenly dismissed Taylor Swift from Mueller's lawsuit, saying that he had failed to prove that she worked to get Mueller fired or had any reason to believe that someone else besides Mueller may have assaulted her.

U.S. District Judge William Martinez also drastically reduced the amount Mueller could collect, effectively shutting down any future countersuits against the star.

The artist who writes her own music, and tours the planet, said in her countersuit that she wanted a symbolic $1 victory, as it wasn't about the money to her just the opportunity and the chance to stand up for other women in similar situations.

Testimony showed that Taylor.Swift reported the incident first to her mother and others on her team, but that she never sought any specific action regarding Mueller or his termination.

From the beginning of the trial Swift's attorneys explained the encounter as a clear case of sexual assault, even though they never reported it to police.

The mother of Taylor Swift, while in tears, testified that she asked Bell to reach out to Mueller's employers the country station KYGO-FM in order to try and agree upon a closed door agreement to avoid the negative publicity for both parties involved.

According to testimony Bell then contacted a station Vice President and asked for an investigation into Mueller's personal conduct.

Later it was claimed that Bell also sent a photo of Taylor Swift to a station executive of the incident as well as Mueller and Mueller’s girlfriend at the time at the actual event.

After a tremendously outspoken speech on the witness stand last week, Swift brutalized any attempts of a dark characterization by Mueller's attorney, Gabriel McFarland of her and her portrayal of the events.

However Mueller testified he never grabbed Swift, she insisted she was groped, but in the end the truth prevailed.
