Attempted Robbery In Nashville’s Starlight Apts Turns Into Violent Shooting

One again heavy gunfire was unleashed in Nashville, Tennessee overnight after a man in the Starlight Apartment building parking lot claims he refused to give money to multiple thugs who tried to rob him.

Police say that the victim of the crime, who was sitting in his car in the parking lot, was approached by multiple suspects who pulled out a gun and demanded he give them his money.

The victim stated to police that after he refused to give them anything they then shot him multiple times. Luckily these types of violent and unintelligent criminals tend to have aim and he was able to survive the attack.

Law enforcement says that the passenger side window of his car was shattered by bullets, and that he's fortunate to have survived with only being hit a few times.

Officers say that the gunmen were wearing masks and that they spoke fluent Spanish, and that they drove away in a black GMC Yukon which was last seen driving toward Murfreesboro.

A witness later called the police and the victim was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital, where he is in stable condition after surgery.

The police department do not know how many victims there are, as only the one man was transported to the hospital. No identities have been released at this time.

If you have any information on the shooting or the suspects you're urged to contact Nashville Police Department at (615) 880-3000 immediately.
