Taran Singh Brar went to the extremes of coughing up $1300 to purchase a giant inflatable chicken that is intended to represent President Donald Trump. The inflatable chicken was placed near the White House on Wednesday afternoon.
The object, which is based on a statue unveiled at a Chinese mall in 2016, sported golden hair and Trump-like hand gestures.

Brar told HuffPost's Philip Lewis that the massive inflatable object was a visual protest against Trump. As stupid as it sounds, he reportedly purchased the chicken to call the president out for being "too chicken to release his tax returns" and to stand up to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The chicken was staged in The Ellipse, a park just south of the White House. President Trump and first lady Melania Trump are currently out of town, vacationing at his New Jersey golf club.
The inflatable chicken, which had hand gestures similar to Trump's, is modelled after a statue unveiled in December as the mascot for a Chinese mall. After the statue's unveiling last year, smaller copies have appeared across the United States.
President Trump was not in the White House when the chicken was placed. This is because the president is on a 17-day working vacation at his golf resort in Bedminster, N.J.
