Marijuana Company In California Buys Entire Town: Weed Like To Visit

A major player in the marijuana industry has purchased an entire town in California, no seriously, and the price wasn't too high either.

Nipton, California, now belongs to “American Green”, and the purchased the pounds of American green-lands for the low low price of only $5 million this week as part of the company's new cannabis tourism venture proposal.

The land sits on a 120 acre plot, and will eventually become the “country’s first energy-independent, cannabis-friendly hospitality destination” according to the company.

Not only does American Green plan to retain the small town's infrastructure, which include a large and historic hotel and trading post, but they also intend to invite other marijuana friendly businesses into their smoke session to set up shop as Nipton expands into a home for stoners and marijuana enthusiasts alike.

While Nipton is a small town which made a name for itself during the gold-rush and railroad era, it currently has a population of about 20 total people.
