Boil Order in Effect in Fannin County, Texas

An update has been issued in Fannin County, Texas after the city of Blue Ridge water system experienced a water emergency.

Several crews are working towards generating a solution to the nagging problem.

Customers have been asked by the crews to stop all non-essential water usage such as outdoor watering, car washing, pressure washing and filling pools.

If one does not have water or they are under the boil water advisory, they are advised to pass by the city hall for bottled water.

They’ll also have the opportunity to fill their containers with water as well. Bottled water is also available at the Fannin County Fire Station No. 1.

The previous story reported that the North Georgia Health District had issued a boil water notice in Fannin County.

All restaurants, hotels, homes, and other facilities are under the notice and are serving and using water should follow guidance from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

NGHD says the water should not be used for drinking or cooking unless boiled first for at least two minutes.

While I hope everyone's safe, bear this in mind. Water regulations by the EPA are being reversed by Trump, imagine what happens when the waste companies start dumping upriver. Boiling can't remove toxins, and before the idiots jump in, I'm not talking climate so go peddle your stupidity elsewhere(like that's going to happen).
