15-Year-Old Juvenile Charged as a Juvenile in Alabama

A Saturday night shooting was carried out by a teenager at the Bridge Street Shopping Centre in Huntsville. The teenager is in custody after being charged as a juvenile with first-degree assault.

The 15-year-old shooter reportedly shot a 16-year-old male just outside the Monaco theater around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was seriously wounded and he was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Police authorities reported on Sunday morning that the victim is expected to survive.

Law enforcement did not have a hard time arresting the young shooter since he turned himself in shortly after the shooting.

The authorities have not yet released names, as both the shooter and victim are underage. They did reveal that the suspect and victim knew one another.

Witnesses reported hearing three to four gunshots outside the entrance to the theater. A tweet from one of the witnesses inside the Bridge Street movie theater proclaimed that he never thought a shooting would take place there.
