Shooting At Waffle House Leaves One Employee Dead

Waffle House is back in the news for another violent shooting which occurred at their Tifton, Georgia location.

The Tifton Police Department says that the Waffle House on the 700 block of 7th Street was ransacked by an armed robber who demanded cash early Saturday morning in the predawn hours.

During the robbery attempt the suspect began shooting at some point during the botched criminal heist which resulted in at least one employee being shot and killed, according to police.

The deceased victim’s name has not yet been released and law enforcement officials have confirmed they made an arrest around the same time of the night but did not say whether it was related to the shooting.
