Police say an El Paso man convicted of repeatedly exposing himself to children has been added to the "Texas Top Ten Most Wanted Sex Offenders" list, with a reward if $8000.00 for any information leading to his arrest.
61 year old Manuel Raul Maese is considered a high-risk sex offender and is wanted for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
Maese has worked as a truck driver and his last known address was in the 7700 block of Mazatlan Drive in the Lower Valley, the DPS said.
In El Paso County, Maese was convicted of two counts of indecency with a child and aggravated assault in the 1980’s, the DPS said. He was convicted of five counts of indecent exposure in 2004. In 2012, he was convicted again of indecent exposure and received probation.
Last year, arrest warrants were issued for Maese in connection with indecent exposure cases in El Paso County and Phoenix.
DPS officials said that Maese might be known as "Manny" and has used the alias "Manuel Montalvo." He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds.
Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of Maese. Anyone with information may call Texas Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-8477 (TIPS) or text the letters DPS followed by the tip to 274637 (CRIMES) from a cellphone.
