Dan Gainor Blasts the Press: Debbie Wasserman Schultz Scandal Is a Story

The vice president of Business and Culture at the Media Research Center, Dan Gainor, shared some insights with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Monday about various issues that include the media’s ignoring the Debbie Wasserman Schultz IT staffer scandal.

Dan Gainor expressed his concerns through Fox news reads, he blasts the news outlets for going out of their way to hide a potentially huge Democratic scandal. Gainor brands the media’s action as funny and unbelievable since the so-called journalists are too busy covering presidential tweets to report on a topic that might embarrass their friends.

In his article titled Liberal news outlets work overtime to hide a huge Democratic scandal and more crazy media misses this week, Gainor welcomes his readers to the Imran Awan-Debbie Wasserman Schultz scandal or Compugrab, as some like to call it.

He emphasizes on Awan’s role as the top I.T aide to Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. He also raises the issue on the FBI reportedly seizing and smashing computer hard drives from his home. Reports from The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Luke Rosiak revealed that Awan was arrested on Monday as he tried to flee the country to Pakistan shortly after wiring almost $300,000 to the country. The FBI seized smashed hard drives from Awan’s home as part of the ongoing investigation.

The Democratic congressmen that Awan was working for since 2010 gave Awan and members of his family $4 million. Wasserman Schultz has been especially uncooperative with the probe into her staffers and even threatened the Capitol Police chief for gathering evidence. She also declined to fire Awan until after he was arrested, even though Capitol Police had already revoked the Awans’ access to the congressional IT system in February 2017 in relation to a major security breach.

Gainor drew the contrast on Monday when he said that the story should have drawn the attention of the press. However, it came out when he was arrested, ABC and NBC ignored it completely in the first 24 hours. Gainor went on to say, “CBS covered it for all of 37 seconds and, of course, ended the story with their famous catchphrase anti-Muslim bigotry because that’s the allegation from his lawyer.

Other outlets such as the Washington Post did a story and took seven paragraphs before they got to the point of actually mentioning his connection to Democrats. So this is a story that the major press doesn’t want out there.

While discussing the recent media controversy involving the White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, Gainor cited Trump adviser Stephen K. Bannon, stating, “For all that the press has tried to demonize Steve Bannon, they haven’t succeeded. He’s still there.”

So how exactly does that have anything at all whatsoever to do with the DWS scandal case?

Don't sit there and lie to my face and tell me "it isn't a thing". It is a thing, and it should concern every American citizen, corruption benefits no one, no matter which side is practicing it, and good government is by definition corruption minimal, an expectation I doubt either side can perform at this time, yet at the same time, a house clean up starts with selecting a broom and starting to sweep, so if you keep making the truth a non-story you're as guilty as they.
