The Federal Bureau of Investigation released images of Diego Barros Pires, who's wanted in connection with a kidnapping of two children and their mother in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Both the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) say they believe Diego is both armed and extremely dangerous.
The Federal Agencies say that Diego Pires is a reputable gang member with a long history of crimes under his rap sheet. The FBI also says he goes by the street names “Smurf” and “Do It”, and that he is currently charged with kidnapping and aiding and abetting for the crimes they say occurred in Brockton and Quincy.
A federal warrant has been issued for Pires’s arrest since March, and the reward for information leading to his arrest or capture has been increased to $10,000.
Pires is of Cape Verdean origin, according to investigators. They also say he's about 5’8” tall and weighs around 160 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and two tattoos; one on his left forearm featuring wings and the name “Kyle,” and another on his right forearm reading “RIP Johnny.”
