Authorities are still searching for the suspect in the attempted luring of two boys in Yardley, Pa.

The incident took place in the area of the Saint Andrew’s Church parking lot on West

Afton Avenue beside Lake Afton on July 17, a Monday, between 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The police narrated that the two boys were preoccupied fishing at the lake at that time when a man parked his car in the lot and got out of his vehicle. A boy, around 10 years old, also emerged from the car.

The man then invited the boys to get inside his car and offered to take them fishing somewhere else, and said he had fishing gear inside his vehicle.

The two boys had the good sense to reject the offer. The suspect along with his boy companion then simply went back inside the car and left.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 40 to 50 years old. The boy was also described to be black. The car was described as a black four-door sedan. The specific model and other particularities are unknown. The plate number was not captured.

Although the details are rather limited, the authorities are asking the public for any tip or information in case they have seen or observed a similar-looking vehicle based on the description and on the black man, and his black boy companion. Anyone with any information is encouraged to immediately contact police at 215-493-2782 x 404, email [email protected] or use the anonymous tips page: http://www.yardleypd.org/anonymouscrimereporting.html. It is crucial to identify and apprehend the man as soon as possible because he poses a danger to others, especially children, as he is likely a pedophile hunting for innocent preys he can victimize. It is also important to establish his relations with the boy he is with, if the boy is related to him, or a victim, too, who needs to be saved immediately.
