The Baltic States have grown increasingly wary of Russia since its annexed the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea in 2014, and count on Nato allies coming to their aid in the event of any Russian action.

There had been multiple reassurances from President Trump's commitment to the key region principle of mutual defense, as long fellow members for not spend their fair share on defense as as well, which has creates a ripple effect or strength in leadership under President Trump, versus allowing the United States to be abused as it was under Obama.

President Trump also stated the commitment of the US to the Baltic States during a Washington press conference in June, and more symbolically at a speech in Poland in early July, which has ushered in heavy praises from EU states with nationalist backgrounds.

To be perfectly honest I don't like VP Mike Pence and a paranoid part of me wonders if the current fiasco is a super sneaky play to get him into the Oval office, but. I have to be honest, I'd still rather have him than that utter imbecile Trump. I would prefer be fooled by Pence, than have a fool like Trump.
