President Donald Trump is mounting pressure for Senate Republicans to go ‘nuclear’ on legislation by installing a 51-vote threshold as he says the current setup is controlled by the Democrats.
The President fired off tweets on the matter on Saturday. He started with: “Republican Senate must get rid of 60 votes NOW! It is killing the R Party, allows 8 Dems to control a country. 200 Bills sit in Senate. A JOKE!”

Trump followed up with: “The very outdated filibuster rule must go. Budget reconciliation is killing Rs in Senate. Mitch M, go to 51 Votes Now and WIN. IT’S TIME!”

Trump also gave some admonition to Republican lawmakers as he said in the succeeding tweets: “Republicans in the Senate will NEVER win if they don’t go to a 51 vote majority NOW. They look like fools and are just wasting time… 8 Dems totally control the US Senate. Many great Republican bills will never pass, like Kate’s Law and complete Healthcare. Get smart!”

The President also said if the situation has been reversed, he is certain Democrats would grab the chance to go nuclear as well. He posted next: “If the Senate Democrats ever got the chance, they would switch to a 51 majority vote in the first minute. They are laughing at R’s. MAKE CHANGE!”

Trump won’t let up and continued to give his strong sentiments. He decried Republicans’ lack of follow through for something they have been decrying for seven years. He wrote: “After seven years of “talking” Repeal & Replace, the people of our great country are still being forced to live with imploding ObamaCare!”

The 45th U.S. President also explained: “If a new HealthCare Bill is not approved quickly, BAILOUTS for insurance Companies and BAILOUTS for Members of Congress will end very soon!”

Trump said right from the start that HE had a real solution, so my response is this. "Get off your fat ass and do what YOU promised", stop passing the buck. All mouth, just like a realtor….. oh, wait.
