Deputy Attorney General of California, 53 Year Old Raymond Joseph Liddy, has been charged formally for Possession of Child Pornography in San Diego, California.

The disgraced Deputy Attorney General entered a plea of Not Guilty, and posted a $100,000.00 bond and was released.
The Liddy family is no stranger to controversy, with Raymond Liddy’s father being the disgraced former FBI agent and lawyer G. Gordon Liddy, who was a key player in the Watergate scandal. He is the man who organized and directed the burglary of the Democratic National Committee headquarters in June 1972.

Law enforcement say that an investigation into Liddy was launched by federal authorities after his internet service provider sent a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January that a user on their network had uploaded an image that appeared to be child pornography.
A month later authorities say that they received another tip that the same user had repeatedly uploaded more images that appeared to be child pornography, which led local and federal authorities to investigate the matter, and they were able to trace that upload location to the Attorney General’s home.
After obtaining a warrant to further search the premises belonging to Raymond Liddy, law enforcement say that they unturned several photos on a computer and thumbdrive which contained minor children engaged in sexual conduct.
One specific image that law enforcement mentioned allegedly showed a nude underage girl blindfolded with her hands bound together behind her, according to the official arrest documents.
Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation then interviewed Liddy where they say he admitted to using internet services and user names associated with the images that had been reported by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Liddy claimed that he used the screen name and other online aliases to share sexual fantasies and perversions involving children online and then later he claimed he deleted them.
Liddy said that most of the images were of adults, though it was possible some were children, but as Federal Agents have stated they indeed found images stored on Liddy’s computer and a thumb drive of underage minors.
The California Attorney General’s office said that “it is aware of the matter”, brushing off this sick and demented perversion of their own Deputy AG as if it's a assault case that isn't a big deal, and that Liddy was placed on administrative leave. They didn't state whether or not his temporary leave is paid or not.
Deputy Attorney General Liddy received his Law Degree from Fordham University School of Law, has been a State Prosecutor since 2008, and this now raises questions about any convictions or sex offenders, rapists, or pedophile trials that he may have presided over the prosecution of.
He's also a Reserve Marine Colonel, who has focused as a prosecutor on healthcare, including several cases about pharmaceutical pricing, Medicare fraud, elderly abuse and neglect, kickbacks from prescriptions, and off-label drug marketing.
<strong><span style="color:red;">While this is a major victory for pedophile hunters who wish to expose this type of disgusting and perverse act that continues to be swept under the rug, it remains to be seen as to how there was even a bond amount at all when FBI Agents actually found child pornography in the Deputy AG’s home.</span></strong>
