Law enforcement in Columbia, South Carolina, say that a vehicle plowed into a crowd of mourners at a funeral.
The incident occurred at Greenlawn cemetery on 7100 Garners Ferry Road while many people were gathered for the funeral services of their loved ones.
According to locals there was a large police and emergency medical response staff gathering at the scene of the crime. At least 9 people are now reported to be severely injured having been transported to area hospitals.
The investigation is now ongoing but the entire area has been quarantined with crime scenes tape being placed around the accident site. As if this time there is no confirmed fatalities or arrests but others have claimed the driver was taken for medical treatment.
