Deep in Davenport, Florida, what should have been a pleasant closing for a McDonald's crew ready to go home from a long night shift, turned into a nightmare.
The McDonald's on Highway 27 was just getting ready to shut its doors and close up for the night when an unknown man went inside around 4 armed with a handgun.
Deputies say he then took two employees at gunpoint into the restaurant’s office and then forced a third victim to open the safe.
Law enforcement says he then took an unknown amount of cash from the safe and ran from the scene. The suspect is described as a black man around 6-feet-tall with an island accent, possibly Haitian or Jamaican or even Filipino.
He was described as wearing sweatpants, a black jacket with the word “MEXICO” on the back and front in neon yellow letters and a bandana on his face.
