Newly Born Baby Found Alone in North Wales Bus Stop

A newborn baby was discovered alone at a bus stop in North Wales at 7:15 am on Tuesday morning.

The bus stop is near the Magpieand Stump pub in Towyn, Conwy. The baby has been brought to a hospital and being cared for.

The authorities have also expressed concern for the health and well-being of the baby’s mother that is why they also want to find her the soonest. Helen Douglas of North Wales Police said:”We want (the) mom to know that she (the baby) is being cared for and treated in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. We are concerned about the health of the mother of the baby girl and are appealing for her to come forward by contacting me, Helen on 07835923787.”

Douglas also called out to friends, relatives, and even neighbors of the mother to come forward, especially if they care for her health.

The bus stop was immediately cordoned off while forensic officers conducted tests to help them in their search for the mother. A caravan close to the bus is also being utilized as an interview room for officers.

The authorities have not yet determined the nationality of the baby as they await for the mother to come forward or for them to find her. There are no tests to be conducted yet on the baby as the priority is on her health at this point.

The authorities did not also establish if they are considering the incident as an abandonment case, pending the results of their investigation.
