A Military C-130 aircraft flying out of Memphis, Tennessee crashed on the Leflore/Sunflower County line in Mississippi.
First responders are now on the scene of the plane crash in Leflore County. Authorities on the ground say the plane was a Military C-130 flight originating out of Memphis with a total eight people on board.
So far, four bodies have been recovered. Firefighters are working hard to put out the fire after the plane crashed in an agricultural field near County Road 287, just off Highway 82, and near the LeFlore/Sunflower County line.
Out of the eight total recorded passengers thus far there have only been four recovered all of which are reported as deceased at this time. A tragic ending to what should have been a routine flight.
There is no word yet from the United States Army as to what could have caused the plane to crash in the field nor is there any confirmation as to the names of those on board.
