In what was an extraordinary moment of nail biting escape, a Copenhagen man was able to free himself from the danger of a burning tower fire by attaching himself to a crane mid air and lowering to safety.

The construction worker had been stuck on the roof of the building in Fjeldhammerveji, Rodovre when the inferno began within the building.

Flames can been seen roaring from the rooftops as the man is literally dangling from a crane hook sent up to save his life as he's lowered to the ground.

Emergency Responders say that there were only two construction workers in the building when the flames began to spread, and this daring individual held on for dear life as he was brought back down from several stories into the air.

Truly a remarkable success story of teamwork and the desire to live. The man did receive burns during the blaze and is in a local hospital seeking recovery. Fortunately he survived and bystanders were able to capture this breathtaking video.
