#CNNBlackmail CNN & ISPs Violated Federal Law Passing IP Addresses To Extort A Child

The recent debacle and allegations CNN blackmailed a potentially minor child into apologizing or CNN would release his identity is beyond disturbing. How did CNN acquire the identity of Reddit user HanAssholeSolo though?

Let's begin by explaining that internet privacy, and the IP addresses of each Internet Service Provider's customers are supposed to be protected by the ISP.

Unfortunately in America there are corporate strangleholds onto the internet service industry, which overreach far beyond the extent of valuing the customer or his or her individuality and privacy.

CNN, is owned by Time Warner. Time Warner is an Internet Service Provider which would have in turn had access to the IP addresses of it's customers. Reddit, which is owned by Conde Nast, is owned by Advance Publications.

Reddit would have had the user HanAssholeSolo’s private IP address as well as that of every one of it's users. In order for CNN to have tracked down the internet user, Reddit would have to of course released his IP address to CNN. Which in turn means CNN used its parent company Time Warner to locate the child.

Why is this disturbing? All of these corporations illegitimately participated in identifying a possible minor child as well as could have resulted in physical harm done to him or his family.

What's more shocking is, once you connect the dots and realize what just happened in terms of the invasive nature of the chain in which the IP information was granted, you start to wonder if it's happened before?

Of course it likely has. These corporations pose a major threat to the security of the average citizen and go above and beyond the boundaries of morality in order to fulfill their endgame.

In this case, the climax intended by CNN was to literally extort a child who offended them. They used their corporate overreach in order to manipulate the child into fearing that his personal identity and life would be threatened if CNN were to release his name.

They blackmailed him into apologizing. As if that's not bad enough they've just exposed themselves for committing a horrendous act that possibly violated federal laws.

“If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same;…”

“They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.”

CNN literally violated federal “Conspiracy Against Rights” laws. Not to mention, the corporations and the chain which passed along the IP address of user HanAssholeSolo likely are also guilty of assisting in the perpetration of such crimes.
