Iraqi ‘Butcher’ Beheads 50 Islamic State Fighters In Revenge

A long standing veteran of the Iraqi security forces who have fought alongside American and Coalition Forces for years against the Islamic State militants in Mosul said he has had enough after his entire family was killed by ISIS.

He made a video saying he had personally beheaded 50 Islamic State militants, saying it was a fair payback for the group’s massacres of civilians including women and children.

Flag Aziz, now a member of Iraqi police said, “Finding your brother slaughtered, or your mother slaughtered, what are you going to do?” He goes on to say, “What they did to us we must do to them.”

He claims the 50 ISIS militants he has decapitated are among 130 others who he has personally killed on the side of revenge to the death of four of his elder brothers on the militants’ hands.

In some of the footage from the video you can see Aziz, nicknamed the “Butcher”, with a blood-stained knife, and in a separate video, he's holding the heads of what he says are Islamic State militants.

During interviews, he was quoted saying that his comrades had not objected to his practice, and even celebrated it.

The Iraqi government forces and allied paramilitary troops have been leading an eight-month long campaign to drive Islamic State militants out of Mosul, which is currently the Islamic State group’s biggest stronghold in Iraq and their previously-proclaimed capital.

However, Coalition forces have also grappled with horrendous accusations by the United Nations and independent human rights which claim they are responsible for extrajudicial killings of Islamic State captives and forced deportations of the group’s suspected sympathizers.
