Ohio Department Of Corrections Website Hacked By ‘Pro ISIS’ Group

Several Ohio Government websites were hacked on Sunday, by a ‘Pro Islamic State’ group, State Government officials said.

The list of official Ohio State Government websites were defaced by the alleged ISIS hacker group are as follows:

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections

Casino Control

Ohio First Lady

Ohio Governor John Kasich

LeanOhio

Ohio Office of Health Transformation

Ohio Inspector General

Ohio Department of Medicaid

When you visit the Ohio Department of Corrections website; you will no longer see the officials material. The Government's UI for the site has been replaced with a black screen which plays music and has a ticker message instead.

The message displayed across the website states, “Anti: Govt all word. You will be held accountable Trump, you and all your people. For every drop of blood flowing in Muslim countries. I love Islamic state.”

An online hacker group ‘Team System DZ’ has claimed responsibility for the destruction of of the website.

Such an attack on an official government website will likely bring in the FBI Cyber Crimes unit as well as their Counter-Terrorism task force considering the type of pro Islamic State imagery being displayed. At this time authorities are still investigating.
