Trump Blasts European NATO Countries As He Arrives In Paris

US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived in Paris for the Remembrance Day events being held in the North of France, as part of the 100-year anniversary of the end of World War I.

Being able to forget about the US troubles of a Democratic House and the Mueller investigation, POTUS wasted no time blasting the European NATO countries to ‘pay their fair share,’ a claim he has repeated during previous visits to Europe.

He furthermore lashed out to French President Macron who had stated earlier this week that Europe "had to protect itself."

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania have just arrived in Paris for a series of events to mark the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the World War I armistice pic.twitter.com/kj3rTNXX9b
— POLITICO (@politico) November 9, 2018

During an interview with French radio station Europe 1, Mr Macron had stated: "We have to protect ourselves with respect to China, Russia and even the United States of America."

"Who is the main victim? Europe and its security. I want to build a real security dialogue with Russia, which is a country I respect, a European country - but we must have a Europe that can defend itself on its own without relying only on the United States."

President Macron of France has just suggested that Europe build its own military in order to protect itself from the U.S., China and Russia. Very insulting, but perhaps Europe should first pay its fair share of NATO, which the U.S. subsidizes greatly!
— Donald J. As he arrived in Paris, Mr Trump blasted those comments, stating: "President Macron of France has just suggested that Europe build its own military in order to protect itself from the US, China and Russia. Very insulting, but perhaps Europe should first pay its fair share of NATO, which the US subsidizes greatly!"

The two men will meet for scheduled talks on Saturday morning ahead of events commemorating the 1914-18 war. Some 70 world leaders are gathering in Paris for events marking the Armistice that ended World War One.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is also scheduled to attend and expects to meet with US President Trump, but the White House did not confirm whether the two world leaders had a scheduled meeting.

How about first of all you pull up those grown up panties and pay America back for paying your " protection " fees all these years . WTH are your plans "Macaroni" , ask us for money to start your " military " . Will it be full of your beloved immigrants .

Yes, indeed. Many countries in Europe can have the 'Scandinavian model' when it comes to medical, etc…because they don't have to spend much on funding a military (like we do in the U.S..). It's time for these countries to stop relying on the U.S. as the world police (I can't afford it).
