A 15-year-old boy authorities described as missing apparently left on his own free will and wished to never come back or be found.
The boy took $1,000, a backpack and his bicycle before he disappeared the day before Halloween.
He has been identified as Thomas Kolding. Kolding left his cellphone so as not to be contacted anymore, as well as a note saying no one should try to find him.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office says Kolding was last known to be at his family’s Mountain Lakes home on October 30. Officials believe he might have taken a train to New York City.
Authorities have yet to establish where the boy is, although investigators say he wanted to travel to California.

The boy’s father, Nicolai Kolding, said that a recent argument about his grades might have pushed Thomas to run away from home. The young Kolding is a high school freshman taking honors courses in math and science.
His anxious mother has taken to social media to share her sentiments and a plea for help so her family could find her precious son. Aleksandra Kolding wrote: “He is a wonderful, resourceful, and far-too adventurous young man who we are worried beyond words. Please keep spreading the word and tell all to look for a very LARGE BLACK BACKPACK he has on him- I think that’s the telltale sign for those that don’t recognize him.”
It’s been a week since Thomas has gone missing. The elder Kolding says even their middle son misses Thomas so much that he hugs Thomas’ bed every morning.
The family wants nothing more but to find Thomas.
The boy is 5-foot-3 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, gray winter skull cap and carrying a large backpack.

Hope hes ok and this isnt a clever ploy to throw off authorities thought up by some child predator hes been talking to.

I`d say this aunt of his is a person of interest.
I pray that God protects him and that he’s found safe and returns home before anything bad happens to him. I wish I could him him.
