In order to promote the NFL overseas, the Jacksonville Jaguars are playing the Philadelphia Eagles at Wembley Stadium in London today.
Nine Jacksonville players went for a night on the town in London on Friday and after a disagreement over the $64,000 bill with the bartender (apparently they had ordered large quantities of champagne at about $600 per bottle) the group tried to leave the ‘London Reign Showclub’ quietly.
Four of them however then started a fight with the gathered bouncers (who by that time had gotten help from adjacent clubs). According to a London source, it was “the West End equivalent of King Kong meeting Godzilla.”

Four Jacksonville Jaguars players were detained by police over the incident and released later. They were safety Barry Church, safety Ronnie Harrison, cornerback D.J. Hayden and safety Jarrod Wilson.
A Jaguars statement said: "We are aware that four of our players were detained over restitution of a bill. The matter is being resolved and the players are with the team.”

London Metropolitan Police admitted afterwards that none of the players were charged and the matter was resolved. They were released without any further action taken.
A Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and spoke with a group of males who had allegedly been attempting to leave the venue without paying a large bill.

"Four men aged in their twenties were subsequently arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation and taken to a central London police station for questioning.
"They were all subsequently released with no further action."

I stopped watching football long ago when it was evident that most football fundamentals where gone. Replaced by showboating & steroid enhanced goons.
Now the players seem to all be brain washed anti-American whom feel entirely entitled to do as they please. Pitiful, just plain pitiful.
