Calgary Rapper Airplane Stunt Fail Leaves Playboy Model Widowed (Video)

Playboy model Kali James was widowed after her rapper husband, upcoming Calgary artist Jon James Mc Murray, was killed during an airplane stunt went horribly wrong and he fell to his death.

Mr James’ management admitted that whilst trying to film his latest video, the aspiring rapper fell from the wing of a plane, stating: "as Jon got further out on to the wing it caused the small Cessna to go into a downward spiral that the pilot couldn't correct."

"Jon held on to the wing until it was too late, and by the time he let go, he didn't have time to pull his chute. He impacted and died instantly."

As to the plane itself, the pilot managed to correct the out-of-control vehicle and landed it safely just a few minutes later in a British Columbia airport.

34-year-old Mr McMurray, recording under his artist name Jon James, grew up in the Rocky Mountains and eventually became a professional skier. However, his need to seek out the extreme landed him with a broken back and shattered foot. The "incredibly passionate" McMurray then turned to a career in rap music.

"His passion for making music videos and performing stunts were combined," his management team stated.

"Jon pushed music in a new direction that was uncharted territory."

His Playboy model wife Kali James, who starred in his music videos, has now set up a GoFundMe page to help celebrate his life.

One of his childhood friends, professional skier Mr Rory Wayne Bushfield, said Mr James had an “unbelievable talent” for music.

“It was a tragedy when he broke his back… but he took that as a positive and it drove him to do some incredible things.”'
