Midterms - New Migrant Caravan Seen As ‘Gift For Trump’ (Video)

||| Time Magazine Cover Mockup|||

In what can only be understood as ‘damage control,’ the Democratically sided MSM started slamming US President Trump’s response to the massive migrant caravan making its way towards the southern border as pundits understood his words were revving up the Republican base like never before.

All talk of a ‘Blue Wave’ that was sure to come has by now fizzled out. Whereas the New York Times realized a few weeks ago already that the Democrats would possibly only take the House and not the Senate (after the ‘Kavanaugh’ confirmation for the Supreme Court saw their prediction polls adapted to a lesser degree of certainty for a Democratic victory), the last few days have only increased the Republican chances of keeping control over both the House and Senate.

Director of the Wilson Center's Latin America program Ms Cynthia Arnson admitted that the migrant caravan electrifies the Republican base and President Trump was now simply copying his 2016 campaign playbook during rallies.

Ms Arnson: "The timing of this could not be a larger gift to President Trump and the Republican Party in advance of the midterm elections."

"I think that's precisely why President Trump is going to his Twitter account and making all kinds of harsh statements to appeal to his base and to stoke that kind of fear. There has been a consistent messaging from this White House to equate migrants with violent crime and the evidence is actually quite the contrary."

Pew Research has shown that immigration is at the top of interests for Republican voters whereas Democrats have totally other issues that touch them. Therefore the failure of the Central American states to stop their citizens from wanting to reach the US could deliver simply more Trump in the White House.

Ms Karen Alter, a political scientist at Northwestern University chimed in, admitting that "this election is going to be won by turnout."

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Judicial Watch is on the ground covering the caravan crisis from the Guatemalan-Honduran border this week &amp; observed that the popular mainstream media narrative of desperate migrants — many of them women &amp; kids seeking a better life — is hardly accurate.<a href="https://t.co/5nWqJz5mXB">https://t.co/5nWqJz5mXB</a></p>&mdash; Judicial Watch 🔎 (@JudicialWatch) <a href="https://twitter.com/JudicialWatch/status/1054911604406607872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 24, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

"Trump is trying to dial up the fear dial to distract to an area where he is being perceived as stronger, mainly his willingness to crack down on immigration, in hopes that that affects the turnout."

"The larger issue is that there is a slow moving train wreck going on in Latin America of governments that are falling apart and they are generating refugee crises."

"We are going to need to pay much more attention to our backyard than we have been paying attention to it recently", continued Ms Alter. "And the good news is that we don't actually have Muslim fundamentalist terrorists in Latin America and that these are really internal crises that you actually might have a chance to address."

Meanwhile MSM pundits are still on their old adage of claiming that the Trump White House has seen the global stance of the US fall, an issue that clearly doesn’t concern the majority of voters who are worried about jobs or the homegrown economy.

Are the democrats handing out voter registrations to the caravan?

This article is crap. They are trying to paint President Trump as stoking fear as a political ploy. That's a lie. He does not need to stoke anything. We the people are not stupid. We know what dangers may lay hidden in the caravan. But more than muslim terrorists, we also know that illegals are use to pump up the votes for dems. The timing is obvious. And we also know the dems want to milk the sympathy card. But that dog don't hunt anymore. We are aware of he Saul Alinsky manipulations and tactics. So the MSM can just choke back on the acting and hold their breath, because they have lost all influence as well. At this point nothing they do will effect anything. The majority have decided what direction they will take this nation. And it ain't left!

dimms have lost the AMERICAN Voter No. 40286 2018-10-24 : 16:54

It is plain to see. They are quite in the minority. Voters consist of criminals & fraud. Including the illegal alien votes.

Clearly if we check every last vote honestly it will be as plain to see as they clouds they sow our skies with.

Think about the carbon emisions from the jet fuel alone to keep these big birds up & spraying.. Worldwide around the clock.

(Talk about global warming … Hey lets put a thermal blanket of only God knows what over the planet)
